Just 2kms from the village of St Mathieu, L'Hirondelle sits in the Haute Vienne countryside of the western Limousin and offers comfortable, en-suite bed & breakfast accommodation or self-catering holidays in a beautifully converted barn.

This unspoilt region of France is ideal for experiencing the outdoors, whether it be walking, fishing, cycling or simply enjoying the scenery and fresh air whilst having a picnic on the banks of one of the regions many lakes.

Limoges airport is just 40 minutes drive away and you can be in Limoges city centre in less than an hour. Similarly, Angoulême and its airport (in the Charente) & Perigueux (in the Dordogne) are both less than an hour away making this location ideal for exploring all three regions.

On selected dates, we offer full-board residential holidays for adults interested in learning to play guitar. Tuition is in small groups (max 4) plus one to one sessions.
The atmosphere is relaxed and informal - it's a holiday!

Beginners Watercolour Painting Holidays

These are holidays rather than structured courses, with the emphasis on informality. Group size is limited to a maximum of 8 to allow for a more personal experience.
